Fashion Friday - She Can Bring Home the Bacon...

Women in the 40's and 50's always looked fabulous. I remember my Mom telling me my Grandma never left the house without heels, full make up and a dress.  The outfits featured below are 40's-50's business outfits.  It never ceases to amaze me how the elegant designs of this era transfer so seamlessly into today's fashion forward century.

Fashion Friday with Etsy - Beyonce and the Pin Up Girls

I love Beyonce in the Lady Gaga "Telephone" video. It reminds me of a 50's Pin Up girl. Beyonce is our inspiration for today's Fashion Friday. With spring break right around the corner I figured pin up girl swimsuits would be the perfect blog post.

Fashion Fridays with Etsy, I Love Lucy

There's no question Lucille Ball is a fashion icon. She was an easy pick for this weeks Fashion Friday. The following finds are treasures I found on Etsy:

The Dress:

I found this perfect Polka Dot gem at YesterDaze for $49.50
The dress has the same polka dot pattern found in the inspiration photo. Not to mention the model strongly resembles to a modern Lucy.


All four of these dresses are by Artsy Shopper for $35.00 - $40.00 each.
I liked each dress better then the last and would not, or could not, choose just one. Each dress has an element taken from our inspiration Lucy dress. It may be the collar, bright pattern, full skirt or the sleeves.


SHOES:
